Mount and Blade: Warband doesn't have the overwhelming number of mods that games like Skyrim or Fallout have, but there's plenty of content to make up for it. My army is usually 11 companions, plus Tier VI Khergit horse archers and slave crushers in a two to one ratio.Mount and Blade: Warband is immensely popular among the player base, which has shown an incredible dedication to the mods produced for this game. Order your archers to fire again.Īnd do the above again, and again, and again. This is to make sure they are facing the enemy.Īt this point, Klethi is being chased by some enemies, but others are advancing towards your line. Two, any enemy reinforcements will have a chance to go after Klethi.Īs soon as your cavalry has mopped up the crossbowmen, pull them a bit further than where they started, then have then take ten steps forward. One, the infantry that is chasing her leaves the crossbowmen behind for your cavalry to massacre. By then, the infantry will be badly chewed up and outnumbered.Īs soon as your cavalry is charging pull Klethi back towards the enemy's spawning point. Of course, if it looks as if the infantry is going to reach the archers, charge earlier. Once the infantry is gone, have them hold fire, and have the cavalry charge. The Khegits will utterly annihilate the infantry that gets close. Klethi will keep hanging behind them, trying to keep as many as possible distracted from my archers. If they keep advancing in good order instead, Klethi plants a javelin in their commander's head. The infantry will split between going forward and chasing after Klethi. The enemy crossbows will start hanging back, trying to shoot at Klethi. I may kill a few with my javelins, but only if I can do so safely. I circle the enemy' with Klethi and come at them from the opposite direction from my archers. I ride forward with Klethi, shield up, until the enemy crossbowmen spot her, and start shooting at her. I place the cavalry, which includes companions and crushers, to their left side and back, in sight from the enemy's line of approach. I dismount the horse archers, and put them on a hill.

I equip Klethi with some throwing weapons, at least one, possibly two shields. I place Klethi in command, trained as a throwing specialist.
